Early detachment of titanium particles from various different surfaces of endosseous dental implants
The trial was carried out for the purpose of comparing different surface treatments (machined STi titanium, plasma spray TPS titanium, zirconium oxide sandblasting + acid AL-SLA pickling, acid ZR-SLA pickling) and their results in terms of assessing titanium particle release during tightening. The trial proves that AL-SLA treatment is the most suitable to ensure an effective osseointegration.
